Dreams

Last night I had dreams.

They were random ones... I recall one of them being - I received my final sem results to find out that I dropped one Class of Honours... super shocked!

Another: I found myself standing on a street in USA with my buddies. The weather was cooling. I was so happy, couldn't believe myself I screamed, "我们在美国leh!!!" while running in a circle. In the dream, it was ecstatic!

5 mins ago I woke up from a nap. I dreamt that my boss was hounding me after work. I drifted in and out of sleeep.

Haha. How dreams can affect you!

I kinda feel stressed that I must constantly meet up to expectations... and strangely it's not due to work, haha!

Heaven's Gate.

Almost heaven. IT FELT LIKE IT. We loved this place... paid some dollars to take a rough 4WD ride up to this highest peak in Continental Asia. The scene from inside the Jeep was already awesome... when we alighted and edged closer, it was...




FREAKING ZOMG IS THIS REAL?!?

The picturesque paranomia view was AWESOMELY AWESOME!!! You look down the valley and in the far distance u see some huts and a peaceful stream... surrounded by luscious green padi fields... and you breathe in the freshest oxygen from the skies (almost straight off the inside of white clouds).... and then you close ur eyes, raise ur hands to feel heaven real close by you...


IT FEELS DAMN GREAT TO BE ALIVE.

I have 100 days!

I wanted JJ's new song.

I thot I was lucky becos I know someone who would definitely have the song! Die-hard fan of JJ!

Then, I also found out it's the last person I should ask. Hahaha!

Anyway, neh ni neh ni poo poo, I have it now! *smirk*

the end of retreat

I feel like how I felt almost 2 years ago, at the end of Engin O Week 2009.

Achievement, satisfaction, drowned in joy and fun, filled with memories of the happy faces and roaring laughter.

The success of our efforts is determined by the sheer enjoyment they brought as they left the place, and I say, it was a HUGEEEEEEEEEE success. =D Kudos to my team!

I also received alot of compliments like a job superbly done, they really had enjoyed the games etc - they were very welcomed praises from sincere faces. Thank you very much. :) It was my pleasure. :)

night lessons

I do have plans to take night classes and further my studies, say, 1 and half years later from now.

But everyday I come home from work feeling exhausted and feel like nua-ing and I only have a few hours of myself-time, I wonder how I can tahan 4 or 5 years of part time studies.

Mother's Day

HAPPY MOMMY'S DAY!!!

MY MOMMY HAS BEEN THE MOST BRILLIANT, BESTEST AND BESTEST.

She has also been very into catching up with the times. Not only has she been playing with her camera, she has just started a facebook account and created a blog.

HAHAHA. Now it looks funny cos my mom's frequently seated in front of the comp while my dad is in the dining room complaining he's got nothing to do.

When we reached Ho Chi Minh City... Heavy traffic. Noisy incessant honking. Inability to communicate with locals. Not exactly felt welcomed... haha! Nonetheless, 5 of us had a hella time together. =)

Resident kitty

There is a resident kitty at my void deck.





It is very cute. And tame. And mild. Does not scratch or hiss or bite. It responds to my "meow" and comes trotting over to sayang himself against my legs.

Reflections

Occasionally I would pause and wonder - what if I had chosen another path?

If I had, I would now be facing completely different working colleagues, a tough environment and a tilted work-life balance.

Would I be happy? Was it really worth while to forgo that golden opportunity?

I believe that ultimately, it's up to the individual to weigh monetary bonuses with the feeling he wants to bring to work everyday.

There's no right or wrong; should have been or shouldn't have been. Be contented with what you possess, where you are, and life goes on as usual =)
