Still remember this?

I always relate the arts forum with milo. HAHA! Yes, today there was everyone's fav milo truck at the arts forum again! The fav vehicle of small kids is the ice cream van, but NUS students' fav is the milo truck. I had 4 cups of milo this aftnn! Mr Jx did even better, he had 10.

The arts forum is hustling and bustling with a mini bazaar! I like going there to jalan jalan, and today I'm happy with my purchase! I bought a Toshiba flash drive 1GB for only $31.90 !! I told my sis abt this, and she wants me to get one for her tml. LOL! I'm also looking ard for a 512MB M2 memory stick... what's the market price anyone knows?

Going off to watch Project Superstar! It's the male contestants performing tonight, I predict it'd be quite a WOOT! to watch. The girls sang yesterday... totally disappointing la... my sis and mom also agree wif me. Miss-A can't sing, Miss-D looks tomboyish and ACBC, while Miss-C is the only one who can-make-it, but still so-so only. BOOOooo.....

Contact time Day

Ok, first things first, I'm glad SH didn't blog abt the mystery guy whom wanted to know his face in the LT yesterday. PHEWWWWWWWWWWW!

Today is Wednesday! In TJC, on every Wednesday we have contact time, and every student excluding the student councillors would be finding ways and reasons and excuses to skip it. But the school pay an uncle at the gate to bark at students wanting to leave the school.
Anyways today, 3 hours of lectures from 10-1pm, MOM2 is taught by the same lecturer as MOM. He was teaching Mohr's Circle... I didn't pay much attention to it, maybe I even spelt "Mohr" wrongly. It's only the 3rd day of school... I'm pretty much still in holiday mood! Gonna whirl my studying engine slowly... must warm up first ma!

These are pics taken from my bedroom.

My bro is sooooo gonna miss this scenery, his 2years to manhood starts at 10am tml. Say hello to Pulau Tekong! Say hello to your beloved masochist Sergeants! Say hello to your new Botak head! I can still vividly recall my 1st day, funnily it seems just like yesterday.

To end off this post, guess who? =P

This funny fren of ours fell in love with Mr. Ronald at first sight, he refused to let go until he was given an ice cream cone to lick away.

2nd day of school!

It's the 2nd day of school, and it's so much better than yesterday!

I was looking forward to the 1st lecture at 10-12pm, becos the lecturer is Yeeee Yixin's daddy! Yesterday we were talking about our lab groups, and for a moment I really thought Yixin's surname is Yee. -_-" LOL. So, just out of fun peace laughter and joy, I shall call Yixin's dad Mr Yee, hopefully she and her family don't hang pig head on my door!

As every lecturer would do on their first lecture, Mr Yee gave a short intro of himself. He bravely told everyone that his daughter is in the same LT as all of us! HAHA! And I'm sure I heard a guy let out a wolf whistle upon hearing this. HAHA. Poor Yixin was so paiseh la. Anyways Mr Yee was a Major (retired) Ns, and his lecture was interesting! He amused us with army terms which all Singaporean guys would definitely find familiar, eg. "semula", "clear arms", "watch your front" etc etc. HAHAHA!

After lunch, me and Buzzing Bee hopped over to POSBbank at Clementi Central, and did a wire transfer of US$600++ to our Work-and-Travel Employer! We're one step and one day closer to our USA dream!! ^_^

Lecture for ME2135 starts at 4pm, but lecture notes were selling at the back of LT7 before that, so I asked Tata whose fav singer is Tata Young and loves Tartar Sauce and has Tartar in her teeth and who will work for Tata Co. *gasp* (phew phew, lemme catch my breath first) to help all of us get a copy each! I was the 2nd to arrive at the LT after Tata, and we initially wanted to conspire to bluff the rest that each copy costs $5 instead of $3.

WAKAKAKA! *evil laughter*. But being kind, we decided not to do it. Hence we only told them it's $4.

LOL! Just kidding, our CAP would drop if we really did that.

At the end of the lecture, I asked Yeeee Yixin who actually is SH. Little did I know, he was just sitting behind us! Yixin then pointed to him and "NEHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" so loudly and blatantly, SH looked over and must have thot I was gay. -_-" Thanks ar....

It's THE day!

8th Jan! Yes, the dreaded first day of school... Well, actually I didn't really dread it, but just don't actually look forward to it. However, I really have been missing the Indonesian Panggang in the Engin canteen... LOL.

First day of school only, I attended 7 hours of lectures. ZZZ! Lectures are ok... I miss the old LT7a. Then back to LT7, I hate the desks there cos they're static and small. Finally I had my arts gem lecture at Conference Room A, Business Building 1. WOOT! It sure looks like a conference room for VIPs! Got mikes on every table too. Lol.

Boring day, so nothing much to talk about......

On the previous Sat, Busy Roy finally booked out! Roy, Jx and me went to catch Zhang Yimou's movie, the one starring Chow Yun-Fatt's beard, Gong Li's boobs and Jay Chou's expressionless face. There was this particular scene where Jay was hit with a piece of unbelievable news, and he was supposed to act shocked and traumatized. But you all know his eyes are small, how to convince the audience leh? So Zhang Yimou tried to make it up by asking him to like vibrate his mouth, you guys know what I mean? But it still looked damn comical, I think half the cinema audience giggled! HAHAHA!

I "HUH?!"-ed very loudly when the credits suddeny flashed. The ending was so abrupt! I was still expecting either Gong Li or Chow to be killed by the other! So crappy la the show! So what's up with "Curse of the Golden Flower"? Yes, the golden flower is the chrysanthemum, but what's the curse?! Where is it?! Jx also felt the movie was meaningless and thought the title should have been "Internal Riot", cos anyway the story is all about unrest within the empire. The highlight of the movie was 2 armies of soldiers fighting, but seriously it lacked action and thrill. The only thing it had in abundance was blood spill.

On the other hand, Death note 2 was much nicer. I totally enjoyed it!

Nothing to rant about already, Check-Mateto !

WHAT?

I saw this notice on the mrt platform.

"Do not step beyond the yellow line until train stops"

I think this is due to the recent 'trend' of people falling purposely/accidentally onto the railway tracks. But WHAT THE HELL? So if I step beyond the yellow line before the train completely halts, I will get fined $500??! LOL! I don't think they'd really catch offenders... maybe just a reminder for passengers.

But I wonder if passengers will really do that! Check out the hot platforms like Tampines, Clementi, Jurong East during peak hours la, confirm SMRT can earn some more several millions a year liao. All so kiasu, want to be the first to step inside. HAHA. I donoe wat's the problems with commuters.

1) No sense of politeness to let the passengers out first, they die die want to squeeze in and snatch seats. Problem solving: No more seats on trains.

2) The Government shld really INSTIL in ppl to keep left while on the escalators. Why they so stupid want to occupy the right lanes? Do they know they'll be obstructing ppl who are rushing for trains? I always get angry when I see this kinda scenes. In future, I recommend they introduce a new technology, whereby if unfriendly commuters still stand on the right, their feet will kena trapped by the teeth of the stairs.

3) And FOR GOD'S SAKE, MOVE IN! I know your destination just 2 more stops away, but can you please spare a thot for those trying to squeeze in? Why crowd at the door? Got money drop down? The air less polluted there? FREAKING HELL MOVE IN LA! Once I was so pissed, the interior of the cabin was so free, but the ppl donoe why want to crowd near the door, resulting in the passengers outside trying to squeeze in. I tak boleh tahan, hence I said in a loud voice, "PLEASE MOVE IN" and signalled for them to walk inside la. At least you'd expect them to turn their heads, feel abit ashamed and move in right? To my UTMOST SURPRISE and HORROR, they turned their heads yes, looked at me, AND THOUGHT I WAS SPEAKING ANOTHER LANGUAGE! So they remained on the spot, waiting for the money to drop down and frantically trying to breathe in more of the less polluted air. I nearly LOL at the stupidity of these 'highly educated' Singaporeans. In the end I just shook my head in disgust and disappointment and wondered what evolution have done to us.

I am so gonna shout "EH FREAKING HELL, CAN YOU ALL MOVE IN OR NOT?" the next time. Ok la, just kidding, I won't. Cos if I do, most likely I'd get arrested for harrassment or for being a public nuisance. Problem solving: "Please move into the cabin after stepping in, Fine $500." Or, really drop money in the centre of the cabin lor.

An advertisement in the train for Marigold's milk...

It says, "Any more goodness, it'll (the cow) MOO"

What is it supposed to mean?? LOL! Somebody please enlighten me! Haha...

Only 3 more days of hols... =(

Happy New Year!!

Let's welcome a new year! A.D 2007!

New year eve was rather plain... I spent most of the afternoon asking Mr-Hero Lip Tong about modules and etc and looking out for modules to take next semester. My timetable is quite packed and there goes my dream of a 4 day week. :(

After dinner, I was very bored and just lied on my bed wondering what to do. Lucky Buzzing Bee buzzed me up, else I would have woken up like 10 plus 11, cursing and swearing myself. Lol. On New Year's eve nobody jio me out... siblings and good friends have their own activities...Feeling bored, I decided to go out for a spin! I'm sure I can entertain myself!

I grabbed my bike and slowly cycled to 900+... then to 800+. Stopped by a photo shop and asked the man to take pics of me, so I can renew my M'sia passport. But unfortunately, I wasn't properly dressed so have to come back tml. So I cycled slowly... to 700+... then to 400+... then along the bridge and reached Pasir Ris! Then I headed to Downtown East... So noisy and boisterous at Escape Theme Park.. So fun and youthful at the chalets... So busy and entertaining at the food courts... So bored and lonely myself... Haiz. I saw a number of makeshift stalls selling 3 cans of spray at $5. LOL. There is a party going on at Downtown East! ^_^ WOOT!

Upon discovery that no entrance fee is needed, I happily joyfully gracefully hopped in, and saw the Superband group Soul performing! What attracted me on TV of them was their dancing. However, this time, I was truly awed by their dancing as well as their singing, as well as their stage presence! Their dancing was still trademark, slick and strong and sharp. Their singing improved tremendously, this despite singing 'live' and dancing along! Their blending of voices and harmonising truly impressed me as well. A number of teenage girl fans screamed in support.

After Soul's performance came the very famous Singapore rock band named I-couldn't-hear-it-properly. Anyway, I'm sure many of u have heard of it before, the lead singer is an albino who has long white hair and dons sunglasses. I almost wanted to leave at this point because I had no interest in rock music.. However, their first song made me stay all the way. They truly changed my impression of a rock concert. The lead singer was experienced, he had this 'rock along wif me baby!' attitude which kept the audience warmed up and hyped up throughout. I was most attracted to the lead guitarist who was so excellent in his fingering, plucking and strumming. However, I didn't think the drummer looked anything like a drummer. HAHA. =P Their songs were all reflective of their beliefs and ideals, and the group was truly enjoying their music, and so were the hundreds below.

After this came Taiwan's singer FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFan Weiqi. Before she came out, to me she was just a very skinny lady with average looks and voice. However when she started singing, her performance really really definitely changed my impression of her. Ok she really is SKINNY. Other than that, her 'live' singing was impressive! And she looked really sweet and pretty! I think it's because some ppl look more photogenic, but she's the opposite, i.e. looks prettier in person than on screen. I think Buzzing Bee belongs to the type like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFan Weiqi. HAHA. Anyways, her stage presence was really excellent. She hopped from left to centre to right, right to left to centre, waving to her fans, making eye contact, truly professional of her. She even acknowledged her 3 accompanying violinists and brought them into the spotlight too. And most commendable of her professionalism was that, her face was lighted with radiant smiles EVERY SECOND she stood on the stage. Her highly entertaining performance was so enticing, I saw a group of male Indians jumping up and down, screamed and waved as if it was BONO on stage.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFan Weiqi waved and smiled to me! ^_^

Brilliant Fan Weiqi, keep up the good work! =)

Pictures of the number of people awaiting countdown.

After the counting down from 10, singing along to All-Lau-Sai (Auld Lang Syne, I mean) and the dropping of balloons, I went to collect my bicycle and back home...

Happy New Year everyone! Here's wishing a properous and better year for everyone! Hope there will be more love and care around the world! May good people live a healthier happy life, and bad people die a KIRA (think: death note) way!

WORLD PEACE!

How the week has been...
