I went down Kallang Stadium at 2 plus yesterday to buy tickets for the match between Sg and Msia later! And I heard tickets got sold out at 3! PHEW!
So I met my buds Jx and Busy Roy at the East Entrance at 7 plus. Frankly, I didn't expect such a big crowd! Because 4 years ago when we went down to watch the same 2 teams playing, the stadium was less than half filled, and Sg was thrased 4-0. LOL. The traffic around the stadium was hecticly squeezed, because of this big match plus S.H.E. was having their concert at the Indoor Stadium also... Wha...
The crowd was machiam like NDP sia, only this time we were armed with posters and not free goodie bags. HAHA. When we entered the stadium, it was like a ROARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! The boisterous home crowd were cheering our players on and it took quite some time for us to get a good seat!
The Kallang Roar is on the way... *BROOOMM..........*
*WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're in it now!
Haha. As for the match details, I guess you all know what happened in the end. Haha. After the game, the SG fans were OLE, OLE all the way out of the stadium, it was such a great atmosphere. We followed the crowd out and made our way to Geylang.... for the famous Beef Kway Teow! We didn't have dinner prior to the match, so we totally enjoyed the splendid smooth noodles and succulent beef pieces.
Must try someday for those who haven't!!
It was already past midnight by the time we finished...we took bus 21 back to Tampines and walked home....... Zzz...
What an exciting match and a totally excellent atmosphere, the $6 ticket was totally worth it. Haha! Singapore Boleh! Win in the finals and do us proud!!
