Papa time

Today was Sunday. I slept on the master bed on my own whilst wifey slept in the other with the kids, as we usually do on weekends. Ye woke up earliest amongst us as usual, she entered my room this morning and bugged at me to wake up. She clambered onto bed and under the blanket with me. I woke up eventually and prepped her breakfast (kaya bread at her request) and we chatted. (Yx didn't wake up until much later btw)

During dinner, Ye said to me she wants Sat and Sundays to be the same as today, so that she can have "papa time". Awww 🥰 sweet moments like this remind me that I'm doing all right as a parent! :)

She's turning 6 in a day's time!

My skin uncomfortable in the humidity whilst doing my job: throwing and picking up shuttlecocks from the ground, repeatedly. Told myself to look at this scene in another perspective, in admiration: sisters playing with each other, giggling, one creating magical bubbles and the other bursting them, their characters poles apart yet also so alike. Will I miss moments like this, I ask myself. Will I miss them bugging me, holding my hands, their silly faces grinning at me. 

Without a doubt.

Ye's favourite vegetable

Wye announced that her all time favourite veg is the stir fry baby kailan we had during our recent staycay, ordered via Grab from a random zhichar stall.

Lol cute girl she loves her vegetables, she even enjoys stalks unlike her sis.
