Maroon 15! (My birthday, haha!)

Irritating Ivan's birthday was yesterday... so today we celebrated with him! We surprised him with a cake from Munchie Monkey's!

While Ivan was away buying lunch... we set up the candles. What would you do if you did not have a lighter....?

Use your brain, and YOU DO THE BELOW!!

HAHA! Borrow fire from Uncle Soup's soup! What BRIGHT Engineering students! =D

Anyway, Irritating Ivan later commented he was very touched by the surprise!

Both mentally...

And PHYSICALLY! =D

Found an interesting personality test from Blur Bee's bloggie....

My colour is MAROON!

And so it explains...

"You are intelligent, and know what's right. You like to take things go your way, which can sometimes cause trouble or not thinking about other people's feelings. But you are patient when it comes to love... Once you get a hold of the right person, it's hard for you to find a better love."

Sounds quite true!!!!!!!! *shocked* Well, I am trying hard to change the self-centredness in me. =)

I also think it is also quite accurate regarding Blur Bee's character... Find out whether it says true about your personality here!

Arsenal came back from behind to draw with Liverpool. Though they could have even won the game... but hmm, one point to preserve their unbeaten run is very good. Way to go, Arsenal!!! =D

The boy on the ledge

(1) One fine sunny day, a small, plump boy in his lower Primary ages was sitting happily on a ledge at the basement of Tampines Mall.

(2) Then he tried to climb down... his leg was desperately trying to touch the ground...

(3) But ALAS!!! He overestimated the length of his leg and BAM he went onto the floor.

Anyways, so his mom naturally came over *piak piak piak* in her flip-flops and helped him up. I expected her to ask if her son's alright... but instead she said....

"WOAH! You want to be HUMPTY DUMPTY ar???"

A few months back!

A lil recap of a few months ago, before I embarked on my most enjoyable journey in my life so far, to USA.

I told you guys I wanted to eat alot of food before I leave rite? HAHA!

One fine day near Bedok 85, this very interesting structure caught my eye!

It's a freaking playground! For kids! Wonder how kids these days play?????? Cos the Government is now stressing on creative minds, thinking out-of-the-box and thinking soldiers?? LOL.

Missed those days when OUR playgrounds were filled with sand. And I believe you guys still remember the dragon shaped playground rite! HAHA! I always had this phobia that my foot would fall thro the gaps.

Anyways, by far I think the best char kway teow in Singapore. Opposite Temasek JC!!! Be prepared to wait for >20mins!!!!

Sinful - big chunks of pork lard. But I loveeeeee it!!!!!

Presenting a quiz!

A day ago our ME3101 design group went down to our employer APL to do a presentation. First time all of us were clad in formal wear.

Woot! looking great!! =)

But the occassion called upon me to start stocking up for my VIP next semester liao. I have ZERO formal shirts, zero formal pants and zero formal shoes.

Long time since I last came up with a quiz! My brain's frosted for the time being, so here's a question I saw on "Mind Your Body" from today's Straits Times.

It's not a lame one... proper English expression. 4 words.

Living in a computer simulation?

Mai-Hum Marilyn gave me a link to the following document...

http://www.simulation-argument.com/computer.pdf

Yes! Very thought intriguing! Might we be existing in a computer simulation created by advanced technology?? Makes alot of sense to me.

On another note...I still miss dear USA alot... Haiz. Those everyday memories are still very fresh in my mind... it's almost like I can just open the door, go out and run about in the lush grass-scape under the big blue sky... :(

Here are some miscellaneous pics taken in my room at Rhoads Hall.

My lifeguard Kit! The blue windbreaker suit was super comfy esp during cold weather/rainy days... :)

Poor shoes I had to cry and dispose of them... Thanks for serving me so well! The sandals was hurt, so I put a plaster to it. The slippers cost USD1 at Dollar Tree and were generally good...

My cupboard and table!! Aww.. miss that room.. :(

My food storage compartment. HAHA. The Swiss Cakes are for breakfast while the rest are for dinner. Always spoiled for choices! (though all are microwaved food lol)

Chips which we munched on during road trips. Lays was a very popular snack amongst the Singaporeans... leave them out in the open, it'd be gone within minutes... especially if ur door is open!

My dear precious super durable and long lasting tupperware which lasted me throughout the 3 months. Bought for USD1 at Dollar Tree on our 2nd day. Served me 3 meals EVERYDAY!!! I think 1mm of plastic must have been washed out liao LOL. And plastic cutlery kop-ed from elsewhere. =X The yellowish stain is from our 1st cooked meal in USA... Jambalaya Rice. Deep memories.

Our refrigerator, almost empty cos clearing it out already. Pepsi is at 25c a can. Beer is also VERY cheap!

The overseas shirt

I'm not sure about you, but I have a few tops that I categorised as "overseas shirts". That means I wear them only when I go f...
