Jarrod and I go back a looong way. We were (in chronological order):

- Lived in the same estate i.e. ex Tampines Court

- In the same PCF Kindergarten (1989?)

- Primary school classmates. We also attended tuition with Mr Yong together which was conducted weekly at our homes, alternately

- Secondary school classmates 

- In the same army unit platoon and same camp!

- University course mates; and

.

- Wait for it -

.

.

- Even in the same army reservist unit!!!

That's a good 35 years' of history!!!

We were never the closest of friends but Jarrod is a super nice person. He drives and I have been a lucky beneficiary, hitching rides from him to NUS and to/fro army camp at goddamn Kranji! The above picture was taken on the last day of our final high-key ICT (as our 40th birthday is around the corner), Jarrod has been going quite out of his way to pick me and send me home. 🙂
