The dancers at the foreground were brilliant! But kudos to everyone who participated! They must have put in alot of time and effort to make this flash mob a success.

I would have loved to be a part of it... haha.

interesting random chats

Today was a day of interesting short chats with strangers.


1) At City Hall

This roughly 50-year-old auntie came up to me and spoke. Upon that, I realised she's a tourist from China. She asked for instructions towards the "榴莲壳" (durian shell).

2) At Raffles Place

I was helping out at SMRT's Blood Mobile Drive when I saw this lanky male looking interestedly at the blood donation stand-up banner. He looked European-ish.

So I approached him, "Can I help you, Sir? =)"

He replied, "I'm just looking at this..."

I probed, "Have you given blood before? =)"





"I'm a gay person..."




HA.

Was quite taken aback at his outrightness and honesty! He explained that back in Netherlands they don't accept blood from gays? So he was reading the banner to understand if Singapore has such regulations.

Later at night, I learnt from Busy Roy that in Netherlands, they legalise gay marriage. HMMM! OIC.

2 months to train up!

It's the time of the year again!


To clear my IPPT! lol.

I have 2 weeks to motivate myself to start to jog, and 3 weeks to jog. I hope I don't die along the way. Lol.





Problem is, recent late suppers have caused my trousers to become tighter (at the waist area, of course).



Bigger problem is, I have been eating fried chicken consecutive 3 days already. HAHAHAHAHA.

Story? In Vietnam one day I was eating buffet happily then realised I had forgotten to bring money -_- so ya, I ended up helping the restaurant sell fruits for half a day to earn back my meal.





Nah, just kidding. I was a tri-millionaire in Vietnam ok!!!

Ahaha. Although I didn't have the chance to do that (yet), I'm glad somebody, in our fast-paced and competitive concrete city Singapore, helped me accomplish my wish :)



I am very impressed by their courage, courage to dare to stand out and be different. The guy in white has a nice voice too!

By the way, I'm still game for exciting experiences. Say, a flash mob! =D
